Moonlight Magic Auction Items

The following items have been donated by generous friends of the Historic Petersburg Foundation for our Moonlight Magic gala – the 15th Ball in the ‘Burg – on February 29. Even if you cannot attend the event, you can bid on these fantastic get-aways, events, and items! Online bids will be taken up to 4 PM on February 28. At that time, the highest online bid becomes the starting bid the night of the Ball. If no one outbids the highest online bid, the item will go to the online bidder. If you win a bid online, we will contact you following the Ball with payment and pick-up information.

Online bidding instructions:
Each item has been tagged with a minimum bid amount. All starting bids must be for at least that amount. Additionally, you may submit a maximum bid amount. This means that if someone else bids higher than your starting bid but lower than your maximum bid, you retain the high bid, which will then be $5.00 over the last bid until your maximum is overbid. If you’re lucky, it might not be!

Each day, this site will be updated with the highest bids from the previous day. You will be notified of the status of your maximum bid. If you have been outbid but are especially interested in a particular item, you can place a new bid and a new maximum.
In addition to this page, selected items will be posted on our Facebook page daily.

For more information about the get-away destinations, events, or certificates, click on the name in red. Please note that all get-away and some event packages are subject to availability. If you have questions about the bidding process, send them to historicpetersburgfoundation@verizon.net and put “Moonlight Auction” in the subject line. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
