Awards for each category are not necessarily given out each year.
There can be more than one award given per year for architectural restorations, craftsmen and heritage. Awards are presented each April at the Annual Meeting.
Honors the preservation of a commercial or residential structure in the city of Petersburg. This project should have been undertaken or completed within the last year
Recognizes the public official or employee of the city, state, or federal government who has been involved in their official capacity in the field of historic preservation in Petersburg.
Honors the member of HPF who has made significant accomplishments in historic preservation during the past year.
Honors the individual, association or corporation who has exemplified the ideals of historic preservation in Petersburg through his, her or its long- standing achievement, commitment, participation and dedication. Awarded only once to a single individual or entity.
Honors the architects, contractors and craftsmen who demonstrate exceptional skill and dedication to the preservation and restoration of historic properties.
Honors the individual who has made important contributions to the understanding of Petersburg’s history and heritage through research, publication by any means, and/or organization of research and/or publication.
Honors the member of Historic Petersburg Foundation, Inc. who has devoted great time and energy to the mission, goals and activities of HPF.
Honors the individual who has gone above and beyond in their service to Historic Petersburg Foundation and its mission.
